💾 Local Storage Reliability
OptimalSwipe stores all data directly in your browser's secure database. Depending on your browser, this data can be in one of two modes:
- 🏠 Persistent: The gold standard. The browser guarantees your data won't be cleared during automatic cleanup to save space.
- 📦 Best Effort: The default. The browser may delete this data if your device runs very low on storage.
Tip: If you see "Best Effort," try choosing "Add to Home Screen" (PWA) to help the browser grant Persistent status. Regular backups are always recommended.
🔄 Live Sync (Desktop Only)
Link a file on your device (or cloud). Every change you make is instantly saved. Note: This feature is currently supported in Chrome, Edge, and Opera desktop. Safari and Mobile users should use manual backups or export/import.
